How it works
You’re looking at a used car from a private seller. You don’t have to be a mechanic. You do have to walk in knowing.
- Paste the listing link. Marketplace, Craigslist, or Autotrader. We read the ad, photos, price, and city.
- Pay $34.99 once. That’s for this one vehicle. No subscription. If the miles, VIN, or engine turn up later, one update is included.
- We read it like a cautious buyer. What’s missing from the photos. What this year and model is known to break, and what that costs at an independent shop. Whether the asking price is fair. What tax usually applies. A nearby shop with a lift.
- You get a PDF. A short answer on the cover, then the detail, then a last page you can print and take to the viewing or the shop. It usually takes several minutes, not 60 seconds. That’s on purpose.
- You still get it inspected. The report is homework. A shop with a lift is the inspection. If the seller won’t go, don’t buy it.
Who this is for
Anyone buying a used car or truck from a private seller who is not a mechanic. Partners who want a document, not a gut feeling. Anyone about to send “is this still available?” and would rather know the expensive stuff first.
